Gore Still At It
I see the King of Hot Air himself, Al Gore, was in Montreal attending an environmental training session. While there he took the time to congratulate Quebec on its environmental policies. This coming from a guy who uses more power in one month than the average American family does in a year.
Now I’m not knocking the man for living a lavish lifestyle. He earns, how shall we say, an advanced income so it follows his standard of living will reflect that. I don’t expect a man in his position to live in a normal 3-bedroom bungalow and drive a 5-year-old vehicle. He earned his money and it is his business how he spends it. It is also his right to enjoy the fruit of his labours. But don’t suddenly get self-righteous about everything and preach to the masses how we must tighten our belts and consume less energy when you are happily busy burning power like there is no tomorrow. Where I come from we call that a hypocrite.

The Right
If you listen to the left I.E. Teh Liberals and of course the socialist NDP in this country you would think that Mr. Al Gore could walk on water. They all seem to have memory lapse when it comes to Mr. Al Gore. They seem to forget that he was vice pres. of the U.S.A. and did nothing about global warming.

Of course when Gore was Vice Pres the concept of global warming wasn’t “in” and there wasn’t the huge money making industry built up around it that exists today.
True visionaries don’t get involved in something because it is the “in” thing to do nor do they do it for the money.

I’m in Montreal, Quebec, and yes, Al Gore was in town this week.
My local classic rock station, CHOM FM, was giving away tickets for the event.
The people around me all speak french and they either don’t care or consider him a hero.
Since I’m bilingual, I’ve seen the Great Global Swindle and hear podcasts with Timothy Ball. Very few around me have seen An Inconvenient Truth.
Argh. Screw the MSM. This is frustrating as hell.

A good blog to keep an eye on is ClimateAudit.org. You can read how weather data was actually altered to fall in line with this “global warming as caused by man” crap.
