“Canadians in four ridings ought to have their little backsides twaddled. Bad voters. Use it or lose it.”
The words of Garth “Master of the Universe” Turner. Did it ever occur to Mr. Turner that these people were exercising their right to not vote? Did it occur to him that perhaps they didn’t like any of the candidates presented to them? Did it occur to him they just don’t give a damn? Why? I think I covered this in a previous post last year. Catch an episode of QP sometime and you’ll have your answer. A group of grown men acting like a bunch of childish asses.

I’m writing this from the USA and think the same. Since the average voter I see, hardly knows anything about for whom they vote, it probably be better for everybody if they stayed home. As for the average politician, they’re no better.

I have a problem with politicians who chide voters for not casting ballots when these same politicians are the very reason why people stay home.
