There are oodles of text to speech applications out there but here is an interesting service I stumbled upon recently. Have you ever wanted to create a podcast for your blog but had no idea where to begin? Perhaps Talkr is for you.
This online service will convert any text-only Atom or RSS feed into an actual spoken podcast in mp3 format that you can download and listen to anytime. Once you complete your free registration you can begin to search their database of feeds/podcasts you wish to subscribe to. Of course this means you can also convert your own feed meaning you are suddenly a podcaster.
