I’m a little slow on the draw but a belated ‘get well soon’ to Jean Chretien. The former Prime Minister underwent heart surgery last week in Montreal and appears to be recovering just fine.
Although I never particularly liked him while he was in power the man had balls, no doubt about that. And for the record, no I never believed he had anything personally to do with AdScam.

Hi elspeth,
You are confusing blame with actual involvement. Yes I blame Chretien as everything happened under his watch and as such he is ultimately responsible. But I certainly do not believe he was personally involved in any of the shenanigans.

Also, as I just replied to your comment on my blog, the way Chrétien defended himself and choked that thug, that was awesome!
We can only imagine what would happen to Dion in that situation. He’d end up in several body bags scattered across at least four provinces.
