Interesting Strategy

A rather interesting albeit unusual alliance. In explaining the move Green Party Leader Elizabeth May said,
“The crisis of climate change is an urgent one. There is no time to waste.”
So is she saying that she has no confidence in a Liberal candidate pursuing a green platform? Not that I blame her really for it was under the Liberal watch that our emissions climbed to over 30% above 1990 levels. Perhaps she thinks a Liberal candidate will be unable to unseat Peter MacKay? If so what does that say about potential Liberal candidates? What makes her think she would be more successful? What does this say about Stephane Dion’s leadership when he needs to rely on another party to prop him up? And what does this say about the Liberal Party who for the first time will not run a full slate of candidates? What do Liberal candidates who were robbed of an opportunity to run think of this? For that matter what do party members think of this?
So many questions, so little time.
