Who Cares?
I promised myself that I wasn’t going to post anything about the snooze fest otherwise known as the World Cup but this has gotten ridiculous. I did my best to ignore this bore-a-rama but the head butt seen around the world got my attention. It seems that what’s-his-face became enraged at what’s-his-face over remarks he made about his mother so he head butted what’s-his-face in the chest drawing the red card or whatever they call it. Of course soccer fans the world over were sitting on pins and needles waiting for some kind of explanation as to why what’s-his-face head butted what’s-his-face since this was completely out of character for what’s-his-face. They didn’t have to wait long. Appearing on French television what’s-his-face defended the head butting of what’s-his-face claiming what’s-his-face made unflattering comments about his mother. What’s-his-face also claimed that what’s-his-face called him a terrorist. Of course what’s-his-face denied the allegations made by what’s-his-face saying he never made any such remarks. Who is telling the truth, what’s-his-face or what’s-his-face? I don’t really know. But I do know one thing. This little drama is a hell of a lot more entertaining than the tournament was.
It is over, isn’t it?

It would have been more entertaining had Zidane sweatered Materazzi and punched his face in, while they played “Eye of the Tiger” over the PA. Just like an old IHL game, between, say, the Cincinnati Cyclones and Fort Wayne Komets.

Perhaps the WWE could book them in a steel cage match or something.
