Sad Day

Another of our bravest has fallen.

A Canadian soldier killed Thursday in a vehicle crash near Kandahar was from CFB Shilo, just east of Brandon.Six other soldiers injured in the accident were also members of the Shilo-based B Company, the second battalion of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry.

The soldiers were conducting a standard patrol when their vehicle veered off the road and appeared to roll over. Officials don’t believe hostile action was involved.
