I have a question. Why is it when a Conservative changes his mind about something he is considered to be flip-flopping or even accused of having a hidden agenda but when a Liberal does it he is simply adjusting his opinion based on life experience? A Liberal can change his position on any given issue [...]

While watching the news this evening I noted a few points of interest. First of all I thought Harper’s hockey dad photo-op was tastefully done. This is the type of thing the CPC needs to do more of to counter the media’s portrayal of him as nothing more than a cardboard image. Of course we [...]

I have to say that this is one of the few times I actually agree with the Bloc in their calls to have the debate format revert back to the old rules. As I have already pointed out in a couple of previous posts I do not like the current format. This event is no [...]

Paul Martin said that Stephen Harper has “no business” becoming Prime Minister and of course the much vaunted CBC is all over the story.
At a rally with Liberal candidates from the Lower Mainland, Martin portrayed Harper as lacking what it takes to be prime minister. “Stephen Harper last night said this was a phoney war [...]

I certainly didn’t get into blogging for fame, fortune or chicks. I do it purely for the enjoyment factor. Blogging is a hobby that has become quite [...]

More from the debate.
I’m glad that I’m not the only one to pick up on a remark by Paul Martin. On tax cuts:
“We believe that putting dollars into your hands and letting you decide how to spend it is the way to go.”
Does anyone else see the glaring contradiction? Blogging Tories member Babbling Brooks does.

More from the debate.
Hahaha. On western alienation Martin said that he recognizes it is a real problem and that the west needs to be a part of the decision making process. It doesn’t help when your official spokesman tells Alberta “Blow me.”

Although this new debate format has resulted in an extremely sedated affair it’s interesting to note that Duceppe is still managing to get under Martin’s skin. In response to Duceppe’s continued referrence to AdScam Martin said,
“…if you have a problem with that talk to Judge Gomery. Talk to the RCMP.”
