Income Trust Story Picks Up Steam

The CBC finally weighs in on the Income Trust story in a segment on the National. And it’s surprisingly not very flattering as far as the feds are concerned. Head over to Blogging Tories member M.K. Braaten to get the video.

the story was less complete than Kathy Tomlinson’s CTV piece(s) from 3 weeks ago. who is CBC trying to fool by sitting on it so long?

Their timing is also suspect. I would guess most folk are pre-occupied with getting ready for Christmas and not really paying attention to the news right now. Coincidence? I doubt it.

    For: Freedom to act!

Imagine having the freedom (that Margaret Thatcher gave
to the Brits & endorsed by young David Cameron) to buy
your electricity from any Green source in Canada that you
choose, like individuals in England can from a ‘real Green’
    hydro system in Scotland.

We immediately need Federal enabling legislation, so that
individuals, say in Ontario, can exercise real intra Canada
personal free trade, by buying their electricity from a
‘real Green’ hydro system say in Labrador!

This would mean we could meet Kyoto-Gleneagles-
Montreal faster and cease totally wasting Canadian taxpayer
money by sending it to Russia for emission credits: Russia is
clearly on a money grab right now to save its lousy
    economy.
