Jazz It Up a Bit

After reading the opinions of a few Blogging Tories members on the new Conservative tv ads I would have to agree with the bland camp. While the ads are alright - they’re informative and straight forward - they need to be jazzed up a bit. It’s unfortunate that information must take a back seat to entertainment but such is the reality of this world. Silly reality-based programs and nifty little sound bites are the order of the day. If we are to attract a younger crowd we have to at least appear to be hip. Just take a look at the CPC youth website CPC Energy to see what I mean. They did a great job of portraying a cool image. As I said, it’s too bad we live in such a superficial world but we may as well play the best hand we can.
