I was going to mention this the other day but alas I got side tracked and forgot all about it. If you’re looking for an interesting read you might want to check out Rescuing Canada’s Right co-authored by Tasha Kheiriddin and the Blogging Tories very own Adam Daifallah. Some background info on the authors,
Tasha Kheiriddin (Toronto, ON) is an award-winning journalist, lawyer, and political activist. She served as President of the Progressive Conservative Youth Federation of Canada from 1995 to 1998, after which she worked for CBC and CPAC, the Cable Public Affairs Channel. Tasha is currently the Ontario director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that advocates for lower taxes, less waste and accountable government. source: http://www.rescuingcanadasright.com/
Adam Daifallah (Quebec City, QC) is a former member of the National Post editorial board and Washington correspondent for The New York Sun. He was President of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Campus Association for the 2001-2002 school year. In 2001, he co-authored the book Gritlock: Are the Liberals in Forever? Don’t waste your time.
The book is full of childish rhetoric and little information. Many references in each chapter, most are un-credible sources of opinion. Well, OK there is a good review of the PC and C parties — Part One. About 23 pages that is a good read; little enough that you could give it a quick read on the shelf.
