Blogger Comments Vastly Improved
Back in September I noted that Blogger had vastly improved its native comment system, so much so I was considering abandoning Haloscan. Thanks to another Blogger upgrade I have finally made the switch and have left Haloscan. Blogger not only uses the CAPTCHA system but now offers comment moderation which I really like. Haloscan gave you the ability to block IPs but anyone who knows anything about computers knows that an IP ban is a snap to get around.
In the past I have been critical of Blogger for everything from database issues to spam blogs but they have really taken steps to correct all of its problems. The spam blogs are rapidly disappearing, speed when republishing is still a little slow but is improving, Blogger hasn’t eaten any of my posts in a long time and the photo hosting feature is great.
The only thing left for me to do now is move the comments from Haloscan over here. That should keep me busy for awhile.

Ugh. I hate blogger’s comments.
Especially hate this ‘word verification’ crap that breaks too much.
