What Is This World Becoming?

I can’t believe how many sick and twisted people share this world with the rest of us. About a week ago I mentioned that Winnipeg resident Robert Geary, who is wanted in Winnipeg for a date in court to face 15 charges of sexual assault involving prostitutes, was arrested, charged and convicted in England of attempting to enlist the aid of prostitutes in procuring young girls for himself. In another equally disgusting case 2 women here in Winnipeg have been arrested for their involvement in a child-prostitution ring.
Two women have been arrested after a police investigation into a child-prostitution ring in Winnipeg.Police are releasing few details, but say two women have been charged with prostitution-related offences and crimes relating to the corruption of children.
Patrol Sgt. Shelly Glover said the investigation began in September, when information came to the police about young women and girls being forced into prostitution in the western end of the city.
The 2 women have not yet been identified as far as I know but I do look forward to seeing their names and faces plastered all over local media as I’m sure are many other Winnipeggers. I don’t mean to prejudge - I understand due process and all that. But truth be told I really don’t have a hell of a lot of confidence in our justice system these days. I have seen far too many lenient sentences doled out for even violent offences such as murder, assault etc. And I have absolutely no use whatsoever for scumbags who prey on children. They are the lowest of the low. If there really is a higher authority then these sick bastards will have much to answer for one day.
