The Big Fat Middle Man

I‘m sure by now most of you are familiar with CBCunplugged.com - a website created and maintained by locked out CBC employees. But did you know these people (collectively speaking) have now set up a news site? Welcome to the internet CBCUnlocked. I just became aware of its existence a couple of days ago and have been keeping an eye on it since. The quality of the reporting and information as well as the actual writing itself is very good. I’m impressed. But of course this begs the question, why the hell do we need the billion-dollar-a-year CBC in the first place? These folk seem quite capable of doing the job without the white elephant. Unless of course you miss those old Beachcombers reruns.
