Gerry Nicholls Stirs Them Up

I was amused at the amount of controversy a piece by Gerry Nicholls has generated. In case you missed it, he wrote an op-ed on the topic of privatizing the CBC which resulted in some very negative feedback. Here is part of an email sent his way.
Your column on selling off the CBC in order to get some “stockholders” is so full of cheap, malicious shots at anyone who thinks the CBC is worthwhile to get news etc. from, that you lose credibility. If you would take your ideological blinkers off for a minute you might realize that the CBC already has about 38,000,000 “stockholders”, the citizens of Canada.
As my buddy JimBobby would say Whooee! That sounds alot like the person who came down all over me the last time I wrote about privatizing the People’s Network. If you really want to stir the pot and get the liberals riled up do a piece on the privatization of the CBC then get ready to sit back and laugh your ass off at the reaction. It’s priceless.
