Make a Difference

Mike at the Socialist Gulag has a great idea regarding Chuck Cadman, David Kilgour and the vote.
As we have seen in recent elections, most notably last year’s US elections, we bloggers wield tremendous power & influence, much more so than the elite media ever give us credit for. Looking at recent events in our country & how close things could be on a non-confidence vote, I say to you that we must take action to get the result that we so desire: the defeat of the criminal Liberal gov’t. This is my proposal:
There are 2 people in this country that can make or break this vote, Chuck Cadman & David Kilgour. Now Mr. Kilgour is currently out of the country & is stance is yet unknown. Mr. Cadman on the other hand is sounding awfully wobbly. Earlier this week, he said he was leaning towards voting to defeat the government, but today (4/29/05) he said thathe is now leaning towards siding with the gov’t, & therefore voting for corruption & criminality.
Mike proposes the following…
We begin a e-mail campiagn to influence them to get them to side with the opposition & bring down this corrupt, criminal government. We have a lot of energy, activity & readers & we can make this work.
Here is their contact information:
Chuck Cadman: Tel:(604)-589-0338 Fax:(604)-589-8864
E-mail: cadman@chuckcadman-mp.comDavid Kilgour: Tel: 780-495-2149 Fax: 780-495-2147
E-mail. kilgour@parl.gc.caBut in order to make this work there would have to be some reasonable parameters:
1) No form letters. All correspondence must be unique or they will likely be disregarded
2.) No more than 1 e-mail from each address. Same reason as above. If you have more than 1 e-mail address & you have the same signature for all of them, it may be best to disable it.
3)Be firm, be direct, but be respectful. No profanity, no insults, no threats, no putdowns & other things of the like. We will only be setting ourselves back if this is done.
4) The more thoughtful & intelligent we are, the more likely we will be taken seriously, so remember quality counts.
