Another great piece by the Winnipeg Sun’s Tom Brodbeck. He talks about the obvious media bias of the MSM.
If anyone is looking for a concrete example of how the news media in this country treats the Conservative party differently than the Liberal party, check out the coverage this past week of the Fraser Institute’s piece on health-care reform.
Fraser authors Preston Manning, former Reform leader, and Mike Harris, former Ontario premier, put out a report on how Canada should take a scalpel to its medicare system.
…the news media — and I’m talking generally about newspapers, TV, wire services and radio — jumped out this week and tied the Fraser report to the Conservative party, when in fact the Canada Health Act is nowhere near Conservative policy.
You know an election is not far off when the MSM steps up the attacks on the Conservatives.
