The Bandwagon Suddenly Got a Little Heavier

This is too much. France, Germany and Russia have all come out praising the Iraq election.
Iraq war opponents France, Germany and Russia Monday hailed elections in the country as a success and, in a sign of warming transatlantic ties, pledged to back U.S. efforts to restore stability.
It’s strange how none of them wanted anything to do with removing the Butcher of Baghdad from power but now are jumping on the bandwagon in light of the successful election.
