In an earlier post, The Religion of Peaceâ„¢ Strikes Again, I brought to your attention the plight of the Iranian teenager with a mental age of eight who is facing the death penalty for prostitution in Iran.
Iranian justices officials have confirmed the young girl has been sentenced to death but deny she is mentally disabled.
They say Ms Mafi is mentally and physically normal and had only been working as a prostitute as an adult.Under Iranian law, girls over the age of nine and boys over 16 face the death penalty for crimes such as rape and murder.
Of course these are the same justice officials who have denied murdering Iranian-born Canadian journalist Zahra Kazemi.
