Do you have an interest in all things ghostly? If so, you might want to check out the Abandoned Hospital website. Located somewhere in Oklahoma, this facility is currently the longest running active paranormal research site in the world. The site has many exciting interactive features such as several live webcams 24/7 as well as live streaming audio. They also have a chatroom and several message boards. In addition to that, live investigations are carried out each and every Saturday night. You can watch as the research team members (RTMs) conduct sweeps of the facility and then engage in a “sitdown”. If you really want to get interactive, wander on into the chatroom - there’s usually quite a few in there. While you’re in the chatroom you can still watch the webcams and even converse with the RTMs during investigations. They will read your text and reply to you via the microphone setup in the facility. The entire thing is operated by the Oklahoma City Ghost Club or OKCGC.
These two sites have a sister site called Ghost Gadgets which provides an immense amount of info. Everything from investigative procedures to EVP (electronic voice phenomena) to EMF meters is explained in great detail. They take a very scientific approach to paranormal investigations.
All in all it’s a fascinating way to spend some time.
