BBC Praises Arafat

Isn’t just like the BBC to praise a murdering terrorist? In Yasser Arafat’s Unrelenting Journey, the author tries to make the case that Arafat is a man just so full of dedication to the Palestinian cause.
The world watches the unfolding drama as the man who has become the symbol for Palestinian nationalism seems to hover between life and death. Though full of uncertainties, Mr Arafat’s life has been one of sheer dedication and resilience.
Sheer dedication? To what - lining his own pockets at the expense of the people? She then describes how she and other journalists milled about outside the gates of his compound desperately waiting for some word about his condition. She bares all as she tells us how she was overcome by emotion at the sight of the helicopter leaving the compound…
Yet when the helicopter carrying the frail old man rose above his ruined compound, I started to cry… without warning.
Who the hell are we talking about? Elvis? The Pope? Yasser Arafat is a brutal and ruthless killer. There is no romance here, no mysterious persona and no glorious past. He is a terrorist, plain and simple. The left can praise him all they wan’t but they cannot change what he is nor can they change how history will look upon this evil man. With respect to the author, save your tears for the innocent children murdered by Arafat and his henchmen. Hopefully very soon, the man known as the chairman will take his rightful place at Satan’s side.
