Do Polls Actually Mean Anything?

Did I mention I don’t like polls?
A CNN poll up today “Did the presidential debates help you decide which way to vote?” 42% answered “YES”.Don’t we have other polls showing that less than 10% of voters were undecided going into the debates? So how can slightly less than half based their vote on the debates? Because these polls are stupid and should be discontinued.
